Celebrating the 2024 Order of the Outback Award, the Burke Shire Order of the Outback Ball is a biannual event dating back to the 1980’s. It is a long-standing tradition for the Burke Shire Council to hold a Black Tie Ball to celebrate this prestigious award.  Delicious food, music, live entertainment and bar services are included in your ticket price. Dust off your glad rags, polish the tiara and bring your friends and family to celebrate this worthy event.

The Order of the Outback Award is open to individuals and organisations that contribute a significant act or service to improve or enhance the lives of people in the Australian Outback either through volunteer or paid service.
