Queensland Country Womens’ Association – Gregory Branch

The Gregory CWA group was formed after a group of women came together at Planet Down Station over 60 years ago.  They are very active in the community, sponsoring various activities and functions. New members are always welcome.

The QCWA is Queensland’s largest and most widespread women’s organisation, boasting thousands of members in cities, rural areas and towns state-wide. The CWA is not for-profit, non-sectarian and non-political. Members are renowned for their advocacy work and for being great home cooks and handcrafters.

CWA provides a space for women to connect, collaborate and create an impact in communities.  This is achieved by advocating and providing opportunities for women, focusing on education, health and community throughout every phase of a woman’s life.

Since 1922, the Queensland CWA has been the iconic and relevant association of choice for women state-wide, coming together for various reasons. Whether you’re interested in networking, making new connections and friends, sharing and learning new skills, or becoming more involved in your community, QCWA welcomes you. It’s about friendship, connection and community.
